Welcome
Our innovative course will bring together numerous astronauts and spaceflight engineers, doctors and policy makers to provide a unique educational opportunity within Australia for those with an interest in human spaceflight.
The multidisciplinary program addresses the challenges of current spaceflight missions and explores the development of future long duration missions to the Moon and Mars. The course is supported by an internationally recognised faculty of spaceflight experts who bring decades of spaceflight experience amongst them.
The course is suitable for a broad range of participants from aerospace professionals and enthusiasts to allied health, nursing and medical professionals. Course material will be delivered through plenary lectures and innovative workshops that utilise Hobart's unique space life science facilities.
Although the course focuses on spaceflight, many of the physiological and medical issues discussed are also manifested in test pilots, flight test engineers, and individuals in extreme or remote environments.
